!! These guides will take you through the process of setting up your own web server and website, from A-Z. No knowledge is needed, and each guide can also be used individually.
Before setting up a web Server read below
1. Consider what Domain name you want for your website. The Domain Name is the address of the website, example www.mightofmike.dk like this page. You need a domain to make your web server available to the public. You can find more information on how to get and set up a domain under Domain Setup.
2. You also need a static public ip address, that you can point your domain toward. How you get this depend on your internet supplier, try looking at their homepage, or contact them.
3. Before setting up the server itself, also make sure you have all the hardware and software needed to complete this guide. My Webserver is running on an old (2009) Intel Duo E7500 2.93GHz.
